THE OPPORTUNITY
FOUNDATION
The Opportunity Foundation (TOF) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable and educational organization that provides financial support and mentorship to under-resourced and talented minority students.
Each year, The Opportunity Foundation awards up to four $2,500 one-year scholarships.
These scholarships can be renewed annually pending academic performance and community service during a 4-year matriculation.
The eligibility requirements for scholarship applicants include:

Nominated by a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity who is also a member of Delta Nu Boulé

Acceptance/Matriculation into an institution of higher education

Minimum cumulated GPA of 2.5

If awarded, proof of registration, enrolled as a full-time college student

Demonstrate financial need

Completed The Opportunity Foundation scholarship application including essay and two recommendations

Commitment to community service and extra-curricular activities

Demonstration of Academic, leadership, team skills, or athletic achievement
Recipients must maintain a GPA of 2.7 or greater to reapply and must complete the submission of a report at the end of each academic year on their academic results, experiences, and collegiate progress. Upon completion of their collegiate career, scholarship recipients are required to make a presentation outlining how their college experience was impacted by their award.
